With John O’Hagan trailing Bill Calton 0-1 /9 in the 11th round of the Chicago Open, John found himself with these rather unfortunate double sixes. How would you play these sixes as John? Would you rather kill a checker or leave a triple shot? Let us know in the comments!

Hitting is pretty much mandatory, and thus we are leaving a minimum of 24 shots. By making the two point and leaving a third blot on the ace point, we are only adding three additional shots, but we avoid making our one point AND completely killing a checker. This leaves us with a much more flexible position whether or not we actually end up getting hit back.
Three blots for the win is my vote. Otherwise, the position is much more disorganized.
