Mark your calendar! Featuring US$6,000 in added money, the 2024 International Backgammon Championship takes place September 26-30, 2024 in beautiful Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
The tournament’s locale is the brand-new backgammon playing room at Bamboo Blu, a short walk from several hotels.
Of course, Voice of Backgammon will be there for color commentary, with international experts providing reality checks.

Flights are inexpensive and plentiful to either Montego Bay or Kingston (both taxi rides from the event, with Montego Bay closer).
And tournament director extraordinaire Jeb Horton promises a full smorgasbord of events, including Open and Intermediate, multiple Jackpots, Doubles, DMP (1-pt games), and Speedgammon.
